This channel aims to present data science, statistics, probability, and machine learning to a very broad audience, starting with the basics and building to more advanced material. I'll begin posting videos to complete the first learning series titled "Introduction to the R Programming Language" and then post videos to complete the second learning series "Introduction to the Python Programming Language". From there I will likely move into statistics and probability, starting with a basic level and then transitioning to graduate level material.

A little bit about me: My name is Jason. I studied Mathematics at California Polytechnic State University where I received a BS and MS degree. I then taught mathematics at the University for several years before completing a PhD program in Biostatistics at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). I then worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Michigan and then transition into industry as a data scientist.
