Channel History:
I started “TARIQ ABDEL PHOTO” in December 2017 as a photography business and found my stride in the electronic music scene, eventually capturing and filming artists like R3HAB, REZZ, Seven Lions, and more throughout the years.

When the pandemic shut down the music industry in 2020, I pivoted to YouTube where I discovered a love for documenting the creative process through storytelling. This channel became an outlet for sharing my journey, techniques, and experiences as a content creator.

Hundreds of videos later, the channel evolved into a source of social proof, helping me land a role as a video producer at Morning Brew, leading to a cross-country move from Portland to New York City in 2025.
