The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to regulate 750,000 health practitioners in Australia.
AHPRA is the national organisation responsible for implementing the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme across Australia, in partnership with the National Boards. This scheme aims to protect the public by ensuring that only suitably trained and qualified health practitioners are registered.
