An Oxford course for advanced undergraduate or beginning graduate students of applied mathematics, covering mathematical techniques for the analysis of stochastic models and their biological applications. Students will learn connections and differences between different stochastic methods, between stochastic and deterministic modelling and how stochastic models can be efficiently simulated using a computer.
