Welcome to the channel of James B Wood, author of thrillers, satire and speculative fiction.

My latest novel, Project Radiant, is a near-future British techno-thriller about AI, government, corruption and what happens when the systems designed to make life easier start making decisions nobody can explain.

My other books include It’s Only an Hour a Week, Ascot to Argelès, Dinosaurs, Elves and Imps and Tales from the Halfdeck.

After more than 28 years working in IT, I’ve seen enough technology, bureaucracy and questionable decisions to provide plenty of inspiration.

Expect audiobook clips, book excerpts, behind-the-scenes writing and publishing, new book updates, thoughts on AI and technology, and the occasional author ramble.

Thrillers, technology, bureaucracy and distinctly British satire.

All books are available on Amazon in paperback, ebook and Kindle Unlimited.
Project Radiant is also available on audiobook
