Dr. Vidushi Pavithra Roopesh has completed the Vidvat level exam (equivalent to MA in Music) conducted by the Karnataka State Board. Her Gurus include eminent vocalists Vidwan Sri Madhur P Balasubramanium, currently a disciple of Vidwan Dr. Mullaivassal Chandramouli , and Vidushi Uma Radhakrishna, Chennai. A graded artist of AIR, Pavithra has won prestigious CCRT Music scholarship (awarded by Central Govt’s HRD ministry) as well as 1st prize in State level competitions conducted by reputed organizations such as Sangeetha Parishad and Rotary. Dr Pavithra Roopesh has got her P. Hd for her thesis on " A detailed study on how Carnatic music got the name Karnataka Shastriya Sangeetha" from Yoga Samskrutham University, USA, Florida, and  she has won many National and international awards from the central government MHRD department, like National Ratna Award, National level Gana  Kogile Award, International level Acheivement award,  and many other awards, in and around the state and country.
