That thought has probably started more projects than I care to admit.

Welcome to The Figure Fabricator, where I share my adventures in action figure customizing, sewing and creating custom costumes, CAD design, 3D printing, painting, and whatever other skills a project happens to require.

I'm a longtime Mego collector and customizer, so you'll see plenty of 8-inch figures around here—including custom costumes, accessories, parts, and the occasional attempt to make something that probably would have been easier to just buy.

But not everything here will be about action figures. Sometimes I need something, have an idea, or just wonder if I can make it myself. That's usually when the fun starts.

I'm not claiming to be an expert at all of this. I enjoy figuring things out, trying new techniques, sharing what works (and what doesn't), and hopefully giving somebody else an idea for their next project.
