Info
Welcome to JavaShortVideo, a home for short videos on aspects of the Java programming language. My name is Ken Fogel and I taught software development for 31 years at Dawson College before I retired. I am a Java Champion and organizer of the annual JChampions Conference. I wrote the book Transitioning to Java for PacktPub.
I dislike many YouTube videos on technical topics. Specifically, I dislike the many videos that present how-to info or that explain concepts that are 5 minutes or longer. What I want to see is a concise presentation with reasonable visuals and that has been rehearsed. Far too often what I find on YouTube are not.
This is what JavaShortVideo is about. Ideally, the videos you will see here will be less than 3 minutes. They will be small topics that discuss the purpose of a concept or technique and show a usage example. I hope that you enjoy these videos and feel free to suggest what you’d like to see, just keep your suggestion short.
