Ali Al Zoobi received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from Inria Labs, Université Côte d'Azur, France. He is currently a research engineer at EDF, where he is involved in operational research projects focused on developing the electrical network and designing better energy production planning programs.

During his Ph.D., Ali contributed to several combinatorial optimization projects and co-authored with his Ph.D. advisors the fastest k shortest path algorithm. His innovative methods for finding itineraries in public transportation systems earned him the Best Paper Award at the ICORES '22 conference.
