I’m Pip Murphy, an author from the UK who’s been living in Japan for the past 10+ years.

This channel will feature book information and insights, my silly flights of fancy, my travels around Japan, and more!

I’m the author of the “Christie and Agatha Detective Agency” books, a STEM series for kids aged 7+ about mystery solving twin sisters from Devon. Each book features a mystery for the shy, bookish Agatha and the outgoing, adventurous Christie to crack, relating to a famous person or event around the 1920s, such as Albert Einstein, Charlie Chaplin or the Curie sisters.

I’m also writing YA adventure books and in my free time I like to travel and work on my bilingual comedy comic called “Assassins Want to Learn English, Too!”.
