If you have to dig a hole, it is really nice to use a shovel. Using NeoVim to typeset LaTeX and write notes in Markdown opens up a powerful range of tools and methods for composing and editing text. In particular, learning the Vim keybindings is comparable to learning how to touch type: tedious to learn, but much more tedious not to learn. The aim of this channel is to make these resources accessible to a wider number of academics and writers who intend to spend a great deal of time working with text. In addition to the demonstration and tutorial videos that I provide here, I will also include links to further resources on my website and GitHub for learning how get up to speed with the state of the art.
