Welcome to Pycor,

I am Taehee and have been using Epicor (ERP) for a while and also coding in python to automate tedious jobs so that I can focus on more fun stuffs like learning new technologies.

Using Epicor and Python are a rare combination as Epicor already supports mature .Net framework.  
I've seen many fantastic tools and customizations developed by .Net developers in Epicor. 

Then why do we need to use Python in Epicor world? 

To answer the question, Python has met my requirements in various areas. 
It is easy to use so that I have been able to develop new tools quickly which have made my life much easier.
Tons of Python libraries are available, I just need to know whatever libraries are required for a new development.
It is the most popular language in the recent years.

I believe there are many Epicor users who do not have .Net knowledge but want to automate simple tasks. 
If you are one of them, Pycor is a right place to learn fun things.
