Gary is an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP) math teacher at Washington International School (WIS) located in Washington DC.  He has taught both Higher Level IB Mathematics Courses: Analysis and Approaches ("Math Analysis HL") and Applications and Interpretation ("Math Apps HL")

After working for 25 years in the institutional fixed-income markets at two major investment banks (Salomon Brothers and Deutsche Bank), Gary has found his passion in teaching high school mathematics with a real-world focus. Before teaching IB math, he taught traditional US mathematics courses, including AP Statistics.  He wants students to gain the skills needed to succeed in an increasingly quantitative world, and he believes that all students can learn mathematics successfully. 

Gary makes math videos for his IB DP students as well as students in grades 9 - 10 who are in the pre-IB DP program at WIS, and wants to share them on this channel for everyone to use!
