I grew up in a small family-owned body shop, racing motocross from age 5–20 and being obsessed with cars. My dad owned Wenk’s Auto Body, and I spent my early years buying cheap cars, fixing them up, and flipping Mustangs.

At 24, my last build was a ’98 Cobra called H8Rbuilt, where every dollar went into it. After years of being car-poor and realizing the family business wouldn’t workout for me, I walked away and bet on myself.

In 2016, I founded HBi Auto, in a 1,500 sq ft, 3-bay shop. A trip to Miami-where I spent my last few thousand dollars renting an Audi R8-changed everything. I decided I’d never work on anything but supercars again.

In 2017, I met Evan & Mary (who later became my wife) & we began building together. In 2024, my brother-in-law Niko joined as a partner.

Today, HBi Auto is one of the largest Porsche operations in the country, & we’re still building.
