MDK is an experimental music biological trio formed by Mik Schuppin (DE), Diego Madero (MX), and Kai Kraatz (DE-MX).

Every Sunday, we connect from three far-apart studios in Germany and Mexico. Through Jamulus, we improvise in real time—recording the session as it unfolds, guiding it into the next album. 

Each session becomes a journey into a different sonic territory: strange rhythms, unstable atmospheres, accidental melodies, and whatever else crosses the signal.

Afterward, we edit and mix the recordings the old way, and release each project with cover art crafted by Diego using his design skills and generative tools.

We love making music and creating unusual soundscapes for listeners who like sound that lives beyond the usual visual box.
