I’m McKinnon Maddox.

I make films, run a business, read a lot, and spend way too much time thinking about things.

This channel is basically where all of that goes.

I talk about books I’m reading, ideas I can’t stop thinking about, things I’m learning, projects I’m working on, filmmaking, creativity, business, and whatever else I’m actually interested in at the time.

Some videos will just be me sitting in a chair talking through an idea. Some will be me documenting something I’m working on or trying for the first time.

I don’t really want this to be a channel where I pretend to have everything figured out. I’d rather just share what I’m learning, what I’m making, and what I currently think about things.

I also put free guides, notes, cheat sheets, and other resources on mckinnonmaddox.com when I make something that might be useful to someone else.
