CLARB is dedicated to ensuring that individuals who affect the natural and built environment through the practice of landscape architecture are sufficiently qualified to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public.  
CLARB members are the Boards that regulate landscape architecture.  CLARB and its members work together to establish standards for the professional licensure of landscape architects.
CLARB serves its members and the profession through the preparation, administration and scoring of the L.A.R.E. This examination determines whether applicants for landscape architectural licensure are qualified to provide landscape architectural services without endangering the public.
CLARB also provides services to individuals through the CLARB Council Record which is a verified history of an individual's education, experience, examination and licensure history.
