LiSA DiAMETR (1987) is an artist who lives and works in Reading (UK). Her work is shown widely nationally and internationally. From 2023 to 2025 LiSA was Artist-In-Residence at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam (NL) with funding by the Arts Council England. She has a PhD (Fine Art) and MFA (Fine Art) from the University of Reading, and BA (Art History) from the Open University. In 2022 LiSA was shortlisted for the Ivan Juritz Prize.

My interdisciplinary practice is driven by the overwhelmingness of information in contemporary experience, how we as humans process signals, and how our brains work during improvisation. I work with sound, writing, drawing, painting, performance, and research while consulting art, music, literature, math, linguistics, and neuroscience. My work addresses urgent and intersecting questions surrounding industrial and domestic sound, colonial legacies, disability, neurodiversity, mental health, madness, gender, embodiment, social justice, and collective futures.
